Maui craftsman Lalepa carves handsome pendants from Pacific Paua shells. Each pendant is inspired by symbols from early Hawaiians, including the Makau fishhook, whale tails and manta rays. Lalepa was born and raised in the small town of Paia, Maui. He says his design sensibility came from his Hawaii roots.
None of Lalepa’s pendants are made from ivory or endangered species. Lalepa is a staunch supporter of our Pacific Ocean and perpetuating sea life for future generations to enjoy.
