The only down fall is that if it's cloudy out the lights don't last but an hour or two.But on a clear sunny day.You go out walk around your yard and it is just beautiful you wish they could stay that way.I think they last eight hours or more.They are fantastic! Only thing is I wish there were more to a string. The solar power is phenomenal. Very bright! I’ve gotten many compl!I can’t fairly rate longevity yet because I’ve only had them up for 2 months but they were on the first night I set them up. Straight out of the box they were ready to go! They seem well built. They’ve been through considerable winds and rains and have held up just fine. I love how bright they are and the timing of them is just right. I liked the first one so much I got 2 more. Each set has been large enough to cover one side of a large cedar. I could probably have used 2 sets to do the gazebo so it is a decently long set.I luv color and lights but strands are shortVery nice Suttle and pretty in the garden at nightLove themI bought this as a birthday present for my wife.Before warned that the solar light panel is small with only a 1.2 volt AA 1200 mah NiMh battery attached to these lights: Vmanoo has a larger solar panel with a 1.2 volt AA 1800 mah NiMh battery for their meteor shower lights. Also this has a female plug socket too attached another light set to it. This is only used for the plug in version not the solar panel version. So water doesn't short it out tape it up good with electrical tape. Or fill it up with clear G E silicone caulking. Do Not cut these end off or you will short it out.
