These are good for ambiance if your space is dark. But it doesn't give you enough light to see what you're doing. I have them around my backyard on my fence polls. It adds a nice pop of light when it's dark and makes the space look nice, but I still need to put my lights on if I want to do anything like let the dog out. It gives better light if you have them low to the ground for stairs and walkways. But good value for the money and qty. also, the double faced tape is very sturdy and withstands the rain. They've been through many storms in a short period of time.Used for a party for lighting on our deck. Will say they did the trick. And I just used the sticky tape. I did have a couple fall off over time but I’m sure if you actually use the screws you will be fine. I live in a climate that gets all four seasons.These are good accent lights for stairs, deck, patio or fence. These lights are not good if you want to have as your main lightning source. Sometimes when I turn my backyard light on to let my dogs out the lights do not automatically come back on so I have to turn back on manually which can be inconvenient.I have them on my fence for looks not for light and they so far are all still workingThey are a nice little edition to a dark corner of my yard. Not very bright, but they are only 30 lumens. More of an accent light.I like these lights as we live in a 55 and older community where it is dark in our corner of the world. They are solidly made and very bright. I like that they provide both screws for permanent mounting, as well as adhesive pads for temporary mounting (which I did in my rental house). I've had them a few weeks and the adhesive pads have held up well in the weather.The running time is highly variable, however, depending on the exposure to daylight. If they are fully exposed on a southern exposure, they will run all night. If they are north facing or partially obstructed to daylight, they may only run 3-4 hours. So placement is critical for best results.They are what I wanted... But only 4 of th 6 work...I ordered 2 months in advance of installing and when I went to install only 4 of the 6 work. Be careful.The lights came with less screw for the installation so I will have to buy 4 screws to complete the installationIt emits a very dim lightThe motion detection does not workNo I do not recommend this product at allThese are great little lights.
