These lights are nice but be prepared to have to unravel them for install. They are made out of thin metal. I put it in my daughter's room and she likes it.Love these! Way better than I expected for the price. Used in conjunction with a sheer curtain for an awesome effect!Not what I was expecting they went dim after two weeks so I won't buy them againAbsolutely love the ambience these produce! Unpacking at first is a bit daunting, but with diligent patience, you can work your way through the delicate wires so that they don't become tangled. I'd give this five stars except for one little design flaw. The hooks which enable you to hang the product on a wire (or on existing curtains) are parallel to the wire itself (as shown in my third picture), when instead they should be perpendicular. This makes it difficult when opening or closing the drapes. I had to add my own extra hook to make the strand work for my needs. But if you don't need to move them after hanging, you'll be fine.I was so on the fence about these lights. My gut told me they wouldn't be bright enough and flimsy BUT I liked that they were designed with hooks so I could easily hang them and a remote was included as well (not all curtain lights come with a remote) so I purchased these along with a better quality set on Prime Day.I'm so glad I got these too because the BEST thing about these lights is how easy they were to hang and then unravel. Piece of cake! The other set I bought definitely was brighter with more lights but a nightmare to hang.These lights are definitely dainty but warm with a nice glow. Not overpowering. I have them hanging above my sliding patio door curtain and they look great. The remote control is an added bonus all for $10 on sale.FYI: Lights use a usb charger, not wall outlet. I bought an adapter with usb plug to use these.I bought 2 sets of these, one for a blank white wall that had nothing before, and one for a window. These are so awesome for walls, I took a blank white wall that was super boring and turned into an piece of art. I absolutely love it, it is usually my light source for that room now, the ambiance is sick. Installation tip: I used push pins to hold the tops and used tape on the bottom to keep the string off the floor, it will be too long so you have to double it back up.The other set I put in my windows are equally as awesome. They're low profile, and clear so they hide in plain sight when they're not on during the day. All kinds of patterns and colors you can choose, definitely a good buy if you want to upgrade a boring wall or window.Love to turn my lights off and sit in my living room with these on. So calmed and relaxing with the soft lights glow. I bought a blue set to and put in my bedroom. Soft glow on all night and if I get up I still can see. I have sliding glass doors I'm getting another set for them next month. Definitely worth the moneyI know these are not "smart" lights. I figured I could connect them to a smart plug and then I could turn them off and on with my voice. My daughter's work fine with her plug. These do NOT work. I can turn them off (obviously because the smart plug will terminate power to it). But when the power is restored they do not come on unless I manually turn them on. Such a bummer. I'm not sure why these ones don't work but hers did.Otherwise the lights are very cool. I love the sound feature. My plug is next to my Alexa which is my main music source. Being closer helps it to be more reactive.Wire and lights are clear and not very noticeable when off which I also really like.
